I really have trouble dealing with mugs with multiple tea bags in them in my environment. Like two tea bags; okay I can suffer silently. Three or more? The entanglement of strings and the ratio of floating things to liquid just becomes intolerable and I am doing everyone a favor by removing myself from the scene.

@littlemiao Who puts three or more bags of tea in a mug? I had no idea this was a thing. If I put three or more bags of tea in anything it's going to be a bigger container like my French press to make more than just a mugful. Then again I prefer loose-leaf over bagged tea so there's that.

I think it’s cumulative. So each mug they brew they keep the old tea bag and add a new one. I’m also all about loose leaf
@littlemiao @ND3JR I like two bags on one 1,2 litre teapot. Sounds kinda thin-ish, but let it cool off to have a good beverage.
Here comes the part I hardly tell anyone: 2nd flush.
I collect the once-used teabags on a plate in a dry place. Once there are 6 or 8 of them, there's another pot where they come to play one last time.
And watch them tangle! 😅
@herrLorenz @ND3JR Mind blown but that makes so much sense. I would just need fair warning to get out of there asap before the final brewing 😅
@littlemiao @ND3JR After the final brew, they dry again – I'm one of the (probably few) people, who cuts them open to compost the remainder of the leaves etc.

That got in my nerves, though. 😅
