I used Copydex glue, felt tip pens, my Mum's blusher and some olive oil to fake a cut to get me out of a school cross country run. Games teacher wasn't fooled by the sticking plaster I'd covered it with, so I peeled it off and he said, "Jesus!" and had to sit down.
