Does he have no idea the level of petty spite Canadians hold? After this action we don't even need to set counter-tariffs. Canadians just won't buy American, period, and you can't even fix the damage by reversing the action.
Anyways, off to remove my last two subscription services and to figure out which "Canadian" companies are owned by US shells so I can avoid them too.

@Flux Lest your wandering.shop membership land on that subscription list - your Mastodon server's "cloud" location is currently in a US-located data centre but it operates on Hetzner cloud and is co-managed by a partly Canadian team. Just so ya know!
Of course you'd also be welcome on CoSocial or any number of Canadian servers too.
