@morrick also, in my experience, my common response to someone asking me to try AI for software development, "I'm completely satisfied with my workflow and am not looking to change it at this time", leaves people quite confused. It's almost like it's never occurred to them that someone could be satisfied with something!

I think they’re left confused because they have internalised the ‘Silicon Valley way’ to approach this stuff: everything is in a constant beta state, everything can be improved if you look hard enough. Newer is always better. And so on and so forth.
It’s a tiresome attitude.
(Sometimes I get asked what ‘tools’ I use for my translation work. My response: I’m happy using TextEdit / BBEdit, or web interfaces like Crowdin. They look at me as if I were an alien! 😆)
@morrick @grishka Reminds me of the pro photographer who taught me photo-editing workflows & DSLR-camera photography way back, when I had one year of journalism school (I dropped out after year 1 was completed). He used really old photo-editing software from the 1990s Mac OS days. He loves Macs 🙂, or at least did. That was 16 years ago. Not sure what he thinks of today’s era of aggressive “modernization”.
