For me it is [Track&Graph](https://github.com/SamAmco/track-and-graph) hands down. It might not be exactly the latest fashion in Android but that is a plus actually for me. But it is very polished and functional.

I'd say #AntennaPod is pretty neat. Good UI and UX, intuitive settings, good feature set.
@totoroot High level of attention to detail, good UX, feels like it follows native Android conventions, good system integrations (e.g. widgets, share sheet, etc)
I'm looking for someone with high attention to detail to collaborate with on Obsidian, but it's so hard to find good Android developers 😢
@kepano tbh I kind of lost interest when Android Studio and Gradle came in and it was such a hassle to do native API stuff after it

@kepano there’s a good reason designers / developers with attention to detail tend to stick to Apple‘s platforms.
Just using Android simulator compared to iOS simulator is so much more of a pain in the ass: copy / paste doesn’t work with keyboard shortcuts, it’s incredibly slow, it uses its own routing and can therefore often not interact with local APIs, graphics rendering is different than on a real device and much more. I‘m only doing the absolute minimum for Andoid and target iOS first.

Hard to think of anything else that is on the scale of complexity of Obsidian.
Im not endorsing Stock Gmail and Messages as "good apps" but rather their UI / UX are very good. Gmail might be the best analogue to Obsidian since it has a "read mode" and a "write mode" with labels, etc.
Gqueues has very good widgets and a UI that compliments its web counterpart very well.
Daylio.is wonderful for being simple without being simplistic.
