"Non-Traditional Research Outputs" — I don't really like it as a term because it's defined negatively, in terms of what it's not: "traditional". Also, it abbreviates too easily to "NTROs" which is a really opaque and jargonistic term.

I keep using it, and I want a better alternative.

"FAIR Digital Objects"/"FAIR DOs" works in some more technical contexts, where "FAIR" is both understood and central, but seems less generalisable.

"Digital Research Objects" feels about right: any thoughts/
