For the first time, Ukraine succeeds in documenting the war crimes of a Russian soldier and securing a conviction: Sergei Karpilovych sentenced to 12 years in prison for keeping a civilian woman prisoner and raping her over a two months period.
May it be the first successful trial of many thousands.
