And so plug-in, balcony solar panels arrive in the UK (following after a lag their surge across the European continent); while not exactly accelerating the Green Transition, they will normalise localised solar power generation & once allied with cheap & accessible batteries may well start to help build more support for a wider Green Transition (or am I being too optimistic?)

I'm in the US and have 800 watts of solar panels and a battery. The article mentions that the plugin systems being sold will be up to 800 watts.
On any mostly sunny day my 800 watt panels power most of my daily use:
- A box fan running 80-100 watts
- Internet modem/router 20 watts
- Small desktop computer/server 20 watts
- 1 Tablet/ 1 laptop use/charging 15 watts
- Several LED lights 10-20 watts at various times
- Use of small microwave (1200 watts) 2-3 times a day, 2-3 minutes per use
- Use of electric kettle (1200 watts) 1-2 times a day
- Use of small induction stovetop (1200 watts) for cooking 10 - 20 minutes a day
According to the battery software I'm using 2.4 to 2.6 kWh per day provided by the solar panels but I'm collecting, on average, 3.0 kWh per day.
My small/medium sized refrigerator is currently under recall and turned off but my solar system should power it with no problem.
Not covered by solar: hot water, heating/cooling.
