Nope, and since they're based on real horses there's actually stuff where. One of the horsegirls runs in the race that did lead to her inspiration's end and pulls a win (one is ESPECIALLY notable for this cause her inspo was so beloved, as I understand, and her storyline absolutely plays with a sense of dread) or like. Gets injured but is determined to recover and make a fresh debut

(Which, yanno, has some ableism tied into it, I would actually kind of love from a processor-of- narratives standpoint to see someone hurt then pivot careers, but that's not something that plays well into the game mechanics so... idfk!!)
