And she gave a crucial push (with money) to get one of the covid vaccines over the finish line. She was very "I don't talk politics", but also you don't record some of the songs she did without being clear what your politics are.
Basically he sees someone is loved and wants to try for the halo effect. But she very vocally said at times "I don't do these things for the recognition" (ie: turned down the presidential medal of freedom from more than one administration, including Trump's)
