Instead of our syncing being cloud-based, it would nice if it were P2P-based.
Benefits:
• More robust: Works even when the server is down, the internet is down (e.g. local connection problems) or no internet is available (in remote areas)
• Can be used to back up the synchronized data.
2/ Example workflow that breaks easily: I’m creating flashcards for Anki on my desktop computer but study them on my tablet.
Therefore, if I can’t connect to Anki’s server (for whatever reason), I can’t use my flashcards.
