Huge shoutout to @shlee for taking the initiative to help fix and update @pixelfed while I work on the new mobile app!
Not only did he join the Pixelfed and Loops team, but he also helped organize the Kickstarter last year, and contributed so much time, planning and organization besides the pull requests.
The fediverse stands on the shoulders of countless builders, contributors, admins and every member of our communities.
We may not always get along, but we're on the same team.

@dansup @shlee @pixelfed I get mixed signals on the number of people who are working for Pixelfed, Loops etc. Sometimes you communicate as ‘we’, sometimes ‘I’. I thought the crowdfunding was also meant to create a team, but in reality it’s basically you (again?). Maybe clarifying the situation and your goals would help in the support you get from the community?
@sourdoughstereo @dansup @shlee There is nobody working "for" Pixelfed and Loops.
They are both open source projects, and have dozens of contributors.
We did create a team during the Kickstarter campaign, and you can see their work across Pixelfed's mobile app and server.
They are still lurking, but Pixelfed dev slowed down while dansup single handily built Loops and shipped it.
We will be more transparent going forward, we did with Loops https://joinloops.org/team and will with Pixelfed soon!
