Privacy isn't a feature, it's a fundamental pillar of platforms that put people first.
As I build the new @pixelfed mobile app, I'm reminded of how many privacy settings we offer, and am really proud of the level of control we offer to our community!
A new Pixelfed era is coming ✨
@FantasmitaAsex @pixelfed That feature is disabled until I finish the feature refactor.
You know why? Instagram has been constantly changing the export schema, and requires us to manually support each one, and it's not ideal.
So, I'm going nuclear with it, and will ship a major refactor that uses some clever techniques to ingest the imports no matter how they are structured, with some backend performance improvements!
