The thing that will always, always get me is that there's relatively few actual sociopaths in the world, and yet (by their own acts, by designing scaled sociopathic systems, by instilling the notion that sociopathic conduct is normative, and by compelling everyone else to adopt a posture that will anticipate and counter sociopathy) they manage to ruin things for everyone.

This observation prompted by a dream I had last night in which I ran into Peter Thiel at the supermarket on Waiheke. I gave him the maximum stinkeye, of course, to zero discernible effect.

@adamgreenfield I think a lot about the colony of monkeys where the jerks all ate bad fruit and died and there was a brief utopia afterwards.
