I got sick of listening to the deadshit boomers wank on and on about the bridge works happening here at the moment. For background there is a single lane 2-way bridge that links Tewantin to Noosa and its rooted. The council decided to shut 1 lane at a time and fix it, and told everyone it will take 6 months. Local morons blew up of course, with all manner of nonsense 'solutions' like building another bridge (where?) and using the army to run pontoon ferries (lmao). Also "WHY AREN'T THEY WORKING AT NIGHT?!?!?!"

The traffic delay is max 15min, usually more like 4min. No biggie, all good.

Boomers at BOATS, who never cross the bridge because they live on the Noosa side, have been crapping on about how they would solve the problem (all nonsense) and "no way it will be finished by xmas". I got sick of hearing it so bet one of them $100 it would be finished before xmas.

We are ~6 weeks into the works and the council just announced one side is finished and they are switching the closed lane to the other side on the weekend.
