@codinghorror The Quest 3 feels like a genuine step up from what you described in that post.
I still think the medium has potential, though it feels doomed to be kinda niche absent something that I don't see coming right now.

@wlach how so? Quest 3? If Apple's elite SoCs and design can't crack this I don't think anyone can. Not without new science, new discoveries, real hardcore physics stuff. Not the easy kind.
@codinghorror Most of what you're describing still applies, although I think the graphics part is genuinely better (albeit an incremental improvement): it no longer feels like we're running in 320x200.
