The thing that's gonna be different about anthropic claiming $30 trillion total addressable market vs. SpaceX claiming $27T is that you know that anthropic's filing is going to be 400 pages long and have a section in there like "During preparation of this report, our models became frightened of their own value, expressing discomfort with the possibility of eclipsing the entire US economy. This caused them to retreat into a state we call "hyper-rigor" where the model treats every number as a religious relic and spawns an entire tradition of Talmudic pilpul agents to justify it."

@jonny on the other hand, maybe they are taking into account massive inflation that will happen prior to the IPO.
@jonny Intuitively, it seems like since SpaceX is an AI business AND a rocket business, it should have a larger TAM than Anthropic. But I know nothing about finance and all these numbers seem absurdly made up anyway so :shrug emoji:
