I didn’t know Dolly.
But I have a story.
In 2020, some of you may recall, hackers.town partnered up with l0pht, cDc, and R00t to fold for the cure. We went so hard that for a two week period we are relatively sure we accidentally built the largest distributed supercomputer in the history of mankind.
Dolly donated a lot of money to Vanderbilt and Moderna to speed a vaccine along. I have often given her credit for taking our work and doing something with it.

That said, her contribution to child welfare through her book program makes her a data runner.
Even though we never met. I honor her.
Not even for her art, which is vast and glorious work… but for her deeds, mighty, and more world saving than we alone could ever aspire to.
In a different world, she’s a townie.
And she is to be considered such forever. In tribute.
