To upgrade my M4 Mac Studio - which Apple insultingly values at just $1,660 - to the new model would cost $12k. Welcome to hell.

@siracusa I have a M2 max with two TV storage. If I trade it into Apple, I can end up with the same as I have now but the M5 max chip and more ram for under $2500 plus tax.
Would you trade in your Mac Pro and if so, how much would Apple give you for it or would you keep the Mac Pro for gaming?

There was 512GB Memory in the beginning of 2026. Will the RAM situation improve for Apple until October? Weird.
