The question is, will the establishment - mainstream media, high courts, etc - and centrist voters make the same mistake they made in Europe in the 1930s - or have they learnt the lesson that the left promises economic change, and threatens only wealth and privilege, but the right threatens complete social disintegration ?
Part of the answer I'm sure lies in the US: will Trump's regime end in economic and social chaos soon enough to provide a new object lesson on the disaster of extreme right government ?
