DC friends: Amtrak service south of DC (to/from Alexandria) will be severely curtailed for 10 days starting October 16, for work in the First Street tunnel. @mattblaze @CStamp I suspect a bus bridge in Amtrak’s future, and L’Enfant becoming more interesting.

@fuzzface @CStamp yeah, this is also going on during the Long Bridge replacement (closing the bridge during the day). Probably a bus bridge and/or metro connections.
