I was talking up Automatic Noodle while I was filling out my Hugo ballot and my 8yo liked the sound of it and asked me to read it to her as a bedtime book, which I did, and then she wanted it again as soon as we'd finished, and we're now halfway through a third consecutive read-through. She's going to be home from soccer practice in a few minutes and she's going to lose her mind when she hears there's a sequel coming.
