I sometimes think I am a cool young punk rebel rockstar, not realising I look like a 50 year old in business attire and shiny shoes. I assume my people will sense me, but instead a younger cooler person just offered me their seat on the bus. I AM NOT IN DANGER OF A FALL. Bloody whippersnappers and rapscallions. Why don't they get a job and stop hanging around on the streets.

I'm older than you and have bum knees but once gave up my seat on a train in Italy to a man whose age I couldn't determine. I did so because he looked like death warmed over.

I've had people offer to carry my groceries to the car cuz "they look heavy" and I have to sit and rethink my decision to not dye my grey hair
