As for those patrons, many of these people have espoused vile beliefs. Lutke has been vocally in favour of removing voting rights, for instance.
@theeclecticdyslexic you don't say why I, or you should give attention to this. I tend to want more than "I've been told", or the rest of what you say if I'm to get activated about something.
I'm not saying this isn't worthy of vitriol, I'm asking why it is because I don't know, when I've seen people hating on DHH a few times recently without knowing that is behind that.
So can anyone point me to his racist or fascist statements, or his support for others making such statements for ex.

@theeclecticdyslexic thanks. I've now read his post about London. Living in UK all my life, North and South, and in London from 2000-2014 it's apparent that he doesn't understand Britain, what he calls "Brits", and particularly London.
His views are racist, ill informed and, like many of those who are protesting, caught up in the online tropes that the right have used in UK for decades.
He may or may not be fascist. He's ignorant and racist. #Denmark has an openly racist culture so 🤷♂️

I think it takes a special kind of racism to advocate "remigration" out of another country you don't live in. Given the connections he has in that patron pool it doesn't seem coincidental that he aligns with Musk on this.
So I guess, just don't lend support to omarchy, and inform people when it comes up. We don't need this kind of stuff laundering itself through FOSS.

@onepict @tante there are, unfortunately, a lot of people who are not particularly well informed, promoting this stuff to young impressionable “apolitical” audiences. and this funding is going to help them.
I don’t mean apolitical in the “actually just a right-wing chud” sense, either; I have seen women, people of color, and otherwise progressive young men promoting this stuff with zero understanding of its political implications.
