Mamdani denying anyone under the age of 19 gender affirming care to comply with Trump administration guidelines is surrending in advance. Jeffries has done no such thing.
Jeffries would rather be assured he can retire in a way that suits his fantasies, than pretend he ever had a scruple he didn't gladly shake-away reaching across aisles to grease the path for another Nazi encroachment.
