@stshank it is kind of funny that the NYT can write "Give me the O.G." with the expectation that everyone knows what this means.
@sayrer I learned the OG meaning maybe 15 years ago — I'd guessed it meant old guard — and the person who told me laughed at my ignorance. But it's not a very mainstream idiom, I don't think.
@stshank It is very easy for someone that grew up on "Yo! Mtv Raps". They played that song forever.
