For anybody the media covering the privacy beat, you might want to have a look at the Take2 court orders to Microsoft over the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks. There’s a big story.
I’ll give you some hints - MachineGuid and MSA device identifiers.

I don’t want to spell it out too much, but essentially - if Microsoft don’t fight those court orders, you’re going to get a line of private companies and dodgy governments tracking people via Microsoft telemetry. The security teams very much risks causing harms to individuals due to the poor balance on privacy.
Time to install bazzite I guess, then the last windows box in my life is gone.
Then start looking to leave the Apple ecosystem.
Well almost as if Microsoft is entering the "finding out"-phase of why the wisdom of old was to collect as little telemetry as possible. If you don't have it it can't leak or in this case be mandated to be handed over.
@agowa338 Microsoft has assembled as much telemetry as possible and then piped it all without anonymisation to MSTIC for central intelligence. It’s a powder keg. Companies realising they can access via court order is a very bad sign that the FAFO stage is approaching.
