Today it really feels like the UK should have kept Mark Carney.
Sort of the way the UK should have kept comedian John Oliver, the EU, actor Anthony Hopkins, actor Emilia Clarke, inventor Alexander Graham Bell, the Dyson company, and Lloyds.
Well at least Britain kept The Original London bridge.

But none of that matters. What counts is that they stand up for honesty, integrity and the rule of law...

Being pedantic, the US doesn't have the original London bridge. There have been many, plus the US only have the exterior stones of the last London bridge
"Small town" boy Mark Carney, was born in Smith Falls, North West Territories, just days after the town was founded as a town. Its only reached 2,000 folks recently.
He was Governor of the Bank of Canada, when Britain asked to borrrow him. To be Governor of the Bank of England.
