@mooooooo you're very very very sweet. when i replied to you i was not thinking like "oh wow my pain was because linus damaged my perception of self" in any way. i literally just realized he's kind of a douchebag and he doesn't care about good software or his fucking kernel project whatsoever
@mooooooo he's a more charismatic bill gates and he was hugely instrumental into setting up everyone else like me who believed in "open source" and then got their hearts broken again and agains by the military industrial complex
@mooooooo to me, when i wept for the death of the linus that had been in my head, it was a lasting and effective reminder not to compromise too early or let fear drive me to overeager diplomacy and to actively seek to undermine the intelligence state. and it turns out you actually can do that
