@TheBreadmonkey Jason Statham takes very careful aim at the low bar but afaik makes no bones about it, he does seems to work to zero in on his niche

Look, I love going to the ICA to see three-hour Portuguese epic about an 18th-century aristocrat walking to Munich to buy a goose or something but I am very happy to spend a Friday evening watching the 27th incarnation of The Statham Film.
@TheBreadmonkey they probably just prompted the AI with “make a movie poster with this name and face. It’s an action movie like Die Hard.”
I was going to mock up a poster with my face and an exploding tower and a stupid film name (Expire Solid or similar). However I couldn't find a good enough image of an exploding bin and when I looked for images of exploding towers it was all 9/11 and I lost my enthusiasm for the whole endeavour.
@TheBreadmonkey Did you hear Amazon stuck it on Prime earlier this week by accident for a couple of hours, about three days before it's cinema release.
Of course, it's been pirated all over the internet now. Lionsgate and the other film distributors and understandably pissed at Amazon.
It'll be interesting to see if Amazon offer any compensation or at least say sorry.
