Would getting a bunch of aluminium extrusion and making a 3D printer stand be a ridiculous idea?

@abstractcode no, most 3D printer kits are made from aluminium extrusion frames
@jpm I was hoping someone would say no so I didn't accidentally get diverted into working out what I need.
