There are reasons for not adding image descriptions. A lack of time is not one of them.
I accept people who are honest about their reasons. But not bullshit

Absolutely this! If you don’t have the time to add alt text, you don’t have the time to post. So just don’t!
Posting without alt text just because you cba is deeply disrespectful to those who need the description, and annoying to the rest of us whose links don’t always deliver images In a timely manner.

I’m not binary about it. (Because hypocrisy is innate to the human condition. Goodness knows, I have *plenty*.)
e.g. I continue to follow an artist who is honest about why they don’t add descriptions. I like their work but I just don’t boost it.
I like many posts here that I don’t boost. I like that those posts are here. But not when they come with bullshit defences
