Months ago (or a year ago, by now), I bought a few Intel N150 mini PCs for dirt cheap, between 120 and 150 Euro each (depending on the RAM).
Two of them sat untouched on my desk for months, almost making me regret buying them.
Today, I'm glad I did: considering how high hardware prices are getting, having a little backup supply doesn't hurt.
And one of them is about to host SmartOS.

@stefano and i recently discovered ThinkCentre M920q — mine even came with serial port. ordering another one next week. 150-ish EUR without RAM and disk. i have spare memory from old mac mini
@stefano they are good powerhorses! I wish I bought one before the prices skyrocketed. Depending on the model, the ones with SATA connectors (or a PCIe expansion slot) are good for NAS
@stefano I'm guarding my 8 year old Raspberry Pi 3 which runs Jellyfin and Pihole with 24/7 armed security these days. Can't afford to replace it.
