@fatsam I just watched the 1st episode of SNW's 4th season. I really was wondering when the Lanthian Engineer said she'd been "here before but it was in a phone booth". How'd they get that past the BBC's lawyers?

@mvilain @fatsam The BBC traditionally wasn't terribly litigious. In particular, they license stuff fairly liberally, and for not a huge amount of money in some cases. (British TV budgets historically have been a tiny fraction of the equivalent US budgets.)

@fatsam @mvilain Nope, I don't watch TV/film and my nearest ever approach to TV script work was some ideas development for a (cancelled) reboot of DOOMWATCH about a decade and a half ago.
