I gotta say... doing an rsync of your ~ to a new laptop is a much better experience than transferring shit to a new phone.
(New phone, first since 2017, and oh man.)

If it weren't for security scopes, one could just rsync a backup of the old phone to the new one. Now you need to also manually log into each individual app, sometimes in a specific order
