@cordova5029 We really need a better word than lazy for this, because I don't think that's actually waht he meant. Some people aren't so committed that they'll blah blah, maybe? lack the time? Hell, i actually do have old MacOS ISOs and I use his data cause that's less I have to do! @alexchapman @Tamasg
@x0 I suppose, though in truth, if I didn't have the knowledge of how to truly extract all the data, what business do I have of even playing with these addons. Never mind that I have heard macentalk 1, 2, and 3 on old mac performas and Centrus m10's and imac's and shit lol. But, since I"M not quite nerdy enough to know exactly where to find every single mac OS version going back to system 6, I shouldn't really truly play with it? should I? #snark @alexchapman @Tamasg
@cordova5029 That's why I'm saying I don't think lazy was the word he actually meant to use. I mean, he literally did just say he wanted to have a nice way of making premade packages, so that people who care can go dig up all the data and give it to their friends, people who just don't want to bother doing that. Which is acknowledging doing this yourself actually sucks, we should be able to just have it done once and then everybody wins. @alexchapman @Tamasg
@x0 if I have a working version/s of all the versions I want, working... is there a necessary thing that says I *must*, update to this way, finding all the ISO's, fi I have almsto all the data aside from lion? @alexchapman @Tamasg
@cordova5029 No? I didn't think he implied that either. He did also say he was going to archive these things so other people can find them in future without needing to do that once Tamas removes them from eurpod. @alexchapman @Tamasg
@x0 Exactly, I'm gonna find a way to archive all this stuff once Tamas removes it from his site. I will also make a version of the addon where it will have all the data in it and when installed, move everything into the correct place, then people can just go and get the addon, install it and boom, its all ready, no extracting things or pasting files into folders, it just works. @cordova5029 @Tamasg
