gabbo said there wouldnt be a fraction of the apps there are on atproto right now without AI and it really shows. No it's not a good thing, there's a reason so many of them struggle to justify their existence beyond very basic obvious ones like leaflet

Im less knowledgeable on the subject, but do you two think AP is likely to implement identity migration soon? Will that cover most of the justification for interest in atmosphere or are there other features that are a big deal?

Ive heard interest in actually doing that but much further on the back burner
There are various proposals for related ideas but I'm unaware of their status.

I personally would be a lot more confident in pushing AP if it had proper migration
