And the other shoe drops - why isn't Trump worried about elections? Because he's been setting it up in the background so SCOTUS can rig the election at the stroke of a pen - a decision that will no doubt come randomly, in the dead of night, when nobody is expecting it.
If Trump's math is right and he/the GOP win minus mail in ballots, this alone would be enough to ensure long-term one party rule.

@Andres4NY All of this is highly illegal. There are court orders prohibiting it now. But as the story says - Trump is applying to SCOTUS for emergency relief and SCOTUS has been DEAD fucking silent on what it plans to do - while the Post Office behaves as if Trump has ALREADY won the appeal.
Ominous.
(All of which of course even assumes Trump cares about SCOTUS. I am by no means certain he does. It is entirely possible they're just gonna rig the election period and say "whoops, we thought for SURE SCOTUS would side with us - oh well, you can't undo an election that's already happened.")
