This is a bug that has been making GrapheneOS users' lives worse for *years*, and clearly Google does not give a shit, because they don't care about AOSP. Which makes this a GrapheneOS bug whether "thestinger" is willing to fix it or not.

Honestly with all the infighting and generally poor leadership among Google alternatives, I'm convinced this path is a dead end. Gotta get away from Android entirely.
Frankly it's just another "nerd opt-out" product that makes sure the very people most able to make a difference will just fix things for themselves while everything continues to get worse for everyone else.
See also Firefox. I don't count any of the Firefox forks because those are just traps for people who don't realize the risk of using software where 0days are only fixed *after* they're publicly disclosed.
