Trump is elected by American farmers, then undercuts their meat price by 25 percent.
Javier Milei's bet on Trump is paying off.
As the fossil fuel industry owns Trump's GOP for its climate denial, take note that beef prices are high because droughts have shrunk herd sizes.

Drought, wildfires, extreme heat events, screw worm infestations, and hay shortages will continue to hit Republican farmers hard.
But sure, keep voting for the Gas & Oil Party.
Beef isn't the only food sector that the fossil fuel industry intends to decimate.

@randahl but he's referring to imports, not to US grown, isn't it? And I'm not sure if it's real beef when I read "300,000 metric tons of product for ground beef". Product? 😁 Sounds like you can include fat, cartilage, bone or whatever in it. I wouldn't like to eat that stuff :D
@randahl So if I follow: Importing Beef to lower the cost of beef, which will mean more people will buy beef (at least the ground beef), which somehow …enables.. our cattle herds… to grow? … be-cause people are eating less? More? What about the billions he gave to Venezuela Or was it Brazil? Argentina ranchers…. Is that where this ‘imported with no quota or tariffs beef is coming from? While our herds grow and our ranchers don’t sell (but magically don’t go broke?) Can we start over please?
@randahl Trying to follow that logic, the choo-choo train kept going off the rails.
@randahl I'm guessing a good 97% of his post is absolute horseshit.
First, blame Biden for everything bad that has ever happened.
Once you get your stupid fucking base all emotionally riled up, start spitting out bullshit facts and numbers.
Lather rinse repeat etc.
