My husband and I checked out a new apartment this past weekend, but it was in high demand so the walk through was with several other prospective renters and I think I emotionally and socially blacked out because I can't remember anything about it, but I liked it in the moment and applied on the spot and got it, so I guess I'll actually get to see what our new apartment looks like when we move in next month?

This isn't as bad as it sounds because my husband really liked it and assured me it's nice, but I seriously can't picture anything outside of what's in the photos and those only captured some angles.
Like, I’m not even sure if it has a toilet because it's not in the photos and didn't register in my memories so fingers crossed!

(The French, when it's something really serious [and what's more serious than a working toilet] are superstitious about saying "good luck" in much the way theatre people are, and say instead "Je te dis merde," literally "I say shit to you," which seems singularly inappropriate for this particular juncture.)
