Twitter’s user base can be hundreds of millions of people but unless the algorithm feeds your posts into their timelines they’ll never ever see or engage with you. Also, wanna guess what % of Twitter’s user base are spam or bots or inactive accounts? A LOT.

@gedeonm I suspect the same of Threads, the numbers for which must be heavily inflated by shoving people across from Facebook and probably counting some of the impressions from Insta.
