We use the library through Libby all the time, so that's a must.

@brianb I suspect on most basic ereaders there's only one thing that can break and is economically repairable: the usb port.
If "basic ereader" is what you're looking for then Kobo has decent options (and isn't Amazon ;-)). From experience I can say the USB ports can be repaired without much hassle.
