I bookmarked Wendy Milner's 1988 book Common LISP: A Tutorial as I do with others published in those years.
These books are interesting as they reflect the programming idioms of the time and offer different angles on using the language. As a plus, unlike other contemporary works the code snippets of Milner's book are set in a monospace font which improves readability.

Indeed it does.
And that reminded me also of the fine fonts of the first edition of _Common Lisp: the Language_.
