We're entering the final week of fundraising to set up #Perennial - a new housing co-op in NE London.
The project can afford to pay interest, so if you have money sat in a savings account that you'd like to put to better use by ethically investing it - send it our way and we'll happily match the interest rate you were getting.
We need every £ we can to make it happen, and if we surpass our minimum target (🤞) every additional £ we raise reduces our mortgage (which we'd be paying 7.5% on) so that we can more quickly pay off all our debts and start using our surplus to support other new projects.

Hey fediverse! If you've chatted to me in the last year or so (or, frankly, if you've passed within earshot) you'll have heard me talking about the main project I'm part of currently: Perennial Housing Co-op.

We're trying to start a new housing coop in NE London, as part of the @RadicalRoutes network, to be a home for 6-10 people. Our hope is that this will be a solid base (providing stable, affordable, community-controlled housing) for community support and activism.
We're raising money currently, and we've just extended our loanstock offer until the end of August.
There's a whole bunch of terms and concepts which might not be familiar to folks, so this is an invite to reply to this post with all questions! AMA! 🙋⁉️
