FOSS/FLOSS/GNU can barely be described as safe for white cis women, the absolutely lowest effort level of diversity. We have a long way to go to make the fediverse an alternative for everyone.
Unrepentant serial abusers are still welcome in many open source tech spaces. It is not physically safe to attend events with these assholes.
Why does anyone expect more underrepresented and constantly harassed people to get into this cesspit?
