From a review of a recent AC/DC concert randomly linked from my feed: “…the crowd exited smiling and, in many cases, well-juiced. Outside the arena exit gates, rows of teens were waiting to drive their parents home.”
@timbray I saw them 25 years ago with Slash's Snakepit and they were amazing.
I'm not really into seeing my favorite bands after they're long past their prime though, so haven't seen them lately. Bummer that GnR didn't get back together in the late 90's or early 00's.
@timbray That's bad parenting. The kids should've been in there with them.

@timbray (though I admit that my son JUST got his license, so this old guy's covered 😁)
@timbray -- I just bring my kids with me. We're piling in the car in a few weeks to sing along with Maiden/Anthrax/Megadeth. 🤘
@timbray A long time ago (maybe 15, 20 years ago) the Rolling Stones were touring and visited this country and some comedian on the radio announced: "Lock up your mothers!"
Since a lot of people liked this, I should link the review and credit the author, Stuart Derdyn https://vancouversun.com/entertainment/acdc-vancouver-concert-review-bc-place-2026
@timbray Swings and round about's 🤔
My daughter bought the tickets. We sang at the top of our lungs all night. And then again in the carpark while we waited an hour to get out.
Angus has wizened into the most adorable teeniest shrunken apple I've ever seen. 🥹
@timbray
Wincing cuz I feel seen, but kinda like starlight, cuz my kids were picking me and the wife up almost 30 years ago!
