Realized I never did write up how I fixed the Akumajo Dracula MIDIs for old MT-32 a couple years ago... I oughta do that, in case it's helpful for anyone

Post... well, not cancelled, but *delayed* as I discover that part of my premise appears to be incorrect and also some of the common internet information I'm working off here seems to be wrong? Or at least marginally mrabbithole I'm down a bit of a rabbithole right now.
I thought I was just doing a quick writeup on something I did a couple of years ago but I think the full answer is going to be more complex than this.
Okay well I’ve worked it all out now and it turns out to have been more interesting than I expected! Will finish the writeup soon.
Update: hit my second major plot twist of this post. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster. I actually have all the information now though so will be finishing the writeup.
