The other day I accidentally discovered that I have the 31st most-followed account on Mastodon and this goes a long way toward explaining why my mentions/replies are so weird and terrible.

I'm guessing you're aware of what went down with Anna Hughes? I'm beyond pissed off about that. I looked at how open she was on this platform and I honestly wondered how long it would last. I'm incredibly sad that my pessimism was borne out there. I'd infinitely have preferred to have been wrong.
