Gosh I have so much work to do... but I'm too angry because the engineer who built the fucking space mirror for Reflect Orbital and then quit openly admits that it won't actually provide solar power and that it's just for "Maybe there's some, you know, grand party in the desert"

I can tell you that the biggest "party in the desert" I can think of (Burning Man) will _NOT_ _WANT_ this. Half the fun is showing off your pretty LED costume etc. Illumination won't help.
And BM is awash with techbros, so even for them it is redundant. But you knew that.

@sundogplanets Here is a pitch for a startup: A system that will attach small rockets onto unwanted earth originated space objects and push them into a trajectory to be swallowed by the sun.
Now who would like to fund this?
